Size
Emfood Trading distributes a wide range of sizes for all spun fibre yarns worldwide. Whether cotton, modal, Tencel, polyester, viscose, wool or linen, our products are pure and can be used without additional synthetic products and/or wax.
Denim yarns are another important application area for finishing agents. The Emsize® product series offers a wide range of yarns that offer optimal chlorine resistance and are all biodegradable.
For both staple fibres and denim yarns, the Emsize® range from Emfood Trading boasts optimal bonding properties.

Fibre optic sizing
Emfood Trading has developed a low-viscosity potato starch derivative especially for treating glass fibre. Emglass® K 150 has excellent properties for treating glass fibre.

Thickeners for printing
Starch is indispensable as a thickener in textile printing. Textile printing can be done in several ways and can be used for both synthetic and natural textiles.
The products in the Emprint® series are suitable for all printing methods - in one- or two-phase processes, at high temperatures, with pressurised steam or when using a thermal process.
Moreover, the products can be used for all types of fibres, with very good results achieved by combining synthetic fibres with guar gum derivatives and alginates.

Finish
In the field of finishing, Emfood Trading offers various starch derivatives for textile finishing. The oxidised potato starches of the Emox® range and our Emdex® dextrins are finishing agents with various gripping possibilities and low viscosity.
The cold water-soluble products of the Empre® and Emcol® series are equally excellent for textile finishing. The cold water-soluble products have a medium viscosity and offer various gripping possibilities as finishing agents.
The starch ethers and starch esters of the Emsize® types are available in different viscosities. The Emsize® types are also finishers that offer different grip options and can also be used in combination with cross-linking agents
